What Shhnap keeps
Shhnap keeps the account details you provide, your verified email address, profile information, photos, messages, relationships, reports, notification devices and limited security records such as sign-ins, IP addresses and device descriptions.
Why it is used
This information is used to provide the service, keep accounts secure, deliver requested notifications, prevent abuse and moderate reports. Shhnap has no advertising and does not sell personal data.
Who can see it
Approved members see information according to your privacy and relationship settings. Administrators may access records where reasonably necessary to operate, secure or moderate Shhnap. Service providers used for email and push notifications receive only what is needed to deliver those services.
Retention and your rights
Profile data remains while your account exists. Routine security records are retained only as reasonably necessary. You can schedule account deletion in Settings; it becomes permanent after seven days. Under UK data-protection law you may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Ask the Shhnap administrator to exercise a right that is not available directly in Settings.
